Location

JLT is located in the most popular district of new Dubai, close to top class golf courses and as well as entertainment venues, such as Wild Wadi, Mall of the Emirates (with its indoor ski-slope) and Ibn Battuta Mall. A number of beach resorts are in close proximity for access to beach facilities.
The premier location of the community on Sheikh Zayed Road between interchange 5 and 5.5 (currently under construction) provides easy access to Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Knowledge Village and Jebel Ali Port. A number of good schools currently exist near JLT, including Delhi Private School (Gardens), Winchester (Gardens), Dubai International Academy (Emirates Hills), Jumeirah English Speaking School (Arabian Ranches), Emirates International School – Meadows (On Meadows Drive, between Meadows 4 and Springs 1), Dubai British School (Junction of Meadows and Springs Drive), Regent School (Adjacent to The Greens). The closest hospital is the Jebel Ali Hospital (in Jebel Ali Village) with Welcare Ambulatory Centre also within a 10 minutes drive. There is a plan for a new hospital to be constructed near the community. The distance from the airport is 30 kms and JLT is just 25 kms from the centre of the city.
